Most people are surprised to find out that I don’t like Halloween. Wait, I like Halloween, I don’t like trick-or-treating. I don’t mind that the kids will come home with piles of candy, it’s just the process of getting them from house to house in a group, without trampling people’s shrubs, without using their props to whack each other, tripping over themselves, etc. Yep, we had crying kids and arguing parents – Happy Halloween, everyone! We have skipped the whole thing for many years by taking them to Great Wolf Lodge – but it didn’t work out this year. I vote for a Halloween party next year! We’ll just stay put and bob for apples.
